A few locals have asked about the Whole Town Garage Sale on Saturday, March 8.
This is the 7th sale I’ve run, each raising funds for a local community group.
This one is for St Martin’s Chapel to help with promotional opportunities, further up-grades & maintenance. What I love about a Whole Town sale is that you don’t have to lug all your treasures to a location – you set up on your property, lawn, garage, house, wherever. Punters drive around town from house to house collecting bargains.
Funds are raised by stall holders having sales at their houses ($22 fee) as well as the sale of maps (@$5) people to follow the map to find the garage sales. Weather permitting, we will have a sausage sizzle as well. If you want to have a sale at your house, all you need to do it fill in the form below.
On receipt I’ll send details for payment into the Chapels account & add you to the map. This year I’ll make up stall holder kits including some balloons & a map for you. These will be available for you to pick up the day before the sale day. On the day Maps will be for sale from 7.45am at the town square. Last year was a total fire ban day so we couldn’t do a sausage but we will this year, weather permitting.
